A new article used HepCAUSAL data to examine hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) risk after direct-acting antivirals (DAA) treatment. Researchers found about "2.5% of people with HIV and advanced liver fibrosis or cirrhosis are diagnosed with HCC by 6 years post-DAA." Article: doi.org/10.1093/cid/...
