⚠️ On June 20, 2009, Neda Agha Soltan was shot dead by the Islamic Regime in Iran during the Green Movement protests.
Habib Khabiri refused to become part of the Islamic Regime’s propaganda machine. While his teammates held up Khomeini’s picture, he sat empty-handed in silent defiance. He was later arrested, tortured, and executed by the regime in 1984.

Muslims created a whole country dedicated to their religion and called it “the land of the Pure”, basically excluding and delegitimizing anyone who isn't a Muslim as unpure and Najis. Then they turned around and accused every other country of being an apartheid state.

This isn’t just about animal slaughter or following rules in a religion or what you perceive as “cultural practices”. It’s about growing up surrounded by ritualized violence so normalized that people stop recognizing it as violence at all.
Zeynab Jalalian is a Kurdish activist and Iran’s longest-serving female political prisoner. Arrested in 2008 for her political activism as a Kurdish woman, she was tortured, sentenced to death without evidence, and later condemned to life in prison by the Islamic Regime despite no evidence.

What exhausts me the most is people, usually westerners, who are desperately trying to cosplay our revolution or even worse, only see our suffering through the lense of “content, clicks, and clout”. That’s dehumanizing.
