Erstwhile photographer, bicyclist, Zelda addict, and greatly relieved ex-Republican (2011). Untethered from the facts. And woke. I voted for Hillary and Kamala. www.tfrog.com/2022/

Quarantining in fear of COVID = the run-up to the November elections. Availability, finally, of COVID vaccines = the joy and relief all across America, should the Democrats win majorities in Congress.

I don't want to hear one more Republican talk about "weaponization" under Biden or Obama. Neither of those presidents did ANYTHING like what the Department of Justice is doing under Trump. There isn't even an argument.

Sad to say, but the next Democratic president may be the weakest executive in many decades. Because Congress will make sure they live up to the Constitution for a change. (And that's whether with Dem or GOP majorities.)

As I think back, I must have written thousands of memos. Not one of them held the force of law, and every one of them could be simply countermanded by a subsequent memo. Sometimes a memo written today would be undone by a memo tomorrow. Here's a memo: a sitting president cannot be indicted.

In 2020-21, Republicans fought - against face mask mandates; - to reopen businesses and schools; - to allow large indoor gatherings; - against the vaccines. Republicans fought to infect as many as possible with COVID. And 400,000 Americans died AFTER the vaccines became generally available.

Rand Paul's got a little Trump Taint© on him. Fauci embarrassed him six years ago (rather, Paul embarrassed himself), and Rand Paul is trying to get revenge even now. An attempt to rewrite history, revenge for a personal slight, and pumping himself up to be some kind of expert. Trumpism.

Rand Paul. Ron Johnson. Rick Scott. now Lankford... The Brain Trust of the Senate. Again: AFTER the vaccines became generally available, some 400,000 MORE AMERICANS DIED, only because they listened to their Republican leaders. People like Paul, Johnson, Scott, Lankford, etc.

It is painful to watch Dr. Fauci sit there as Sen. Ron Johnson goes on about absolute nonsense. Ivermectin. Hydroxychloroquine. Johnson is one of the biggest idiots in the Senate. Fauci is a leading epidemiologist. He is right to invoke the 5th.

STILL? We're still doing this? Dr. Anthony Fauci didn't kill 1,000,000 Americans. The Republicans did. At least 400,000 Americans died after the vaccines were available, only because they listened to Republicans. Almost all of them were unvaccinated. It wasn't Dr. Fauci.

Just finished #AgentKimReactivated." RECOMMENDED. I thought at first it was a Korean "Taken," as Mr. Kim's daughter is kidnapped and we find that this mild-mannered bank manager is "possessed of certain skills." His two sidekicks make it fun throughout. Watch in Korean, English subtitles.

screengrab from Netflix of its "Agent Kim Reactivated," at 10 episode Korean drama about an unassuming man whose daughter is kidnapped. Bad move.

I keep thinking of the many good things America could have if not for Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema in the Senate. I suppose it's amazing what-all Biden WAS able to get passed. Pennsylvania didn't vote for the Fetterman we have, just the Fetterman we wanted. His term expires in 2028.

Vandals. Antifa. Radical leftist commies. Opened a new box of coffee pods and found one SLASHED - a 350 foot gash in the lid of my pod. I'm only sorry there aren't security cameras in my kitchen.

a coffee pod of Peet's French Roast is slashed across the lid

I am happy to see DSA candidates pushing the Democratic Party toward goals that the Democratic Party has stated for the past 70 years. Progress under Obama. More progress under Biden. Now we watch as the GOP under Trump undoes all of that progress we've made. Keep pushing, DSA.

The "toughest thing [he has] to do as president" - go to Dover, stand around for a long time looking stern, and try not to make it about him. That's it. The toughest thing. The 18 military members who died, of course, might think that's not all that tough.

Hulu Live TV. Yes, I'm paying too much for live TV and I get it through my Disney/Hulu account. OF ALL THE STREAMING that I use, Hulu Live TV is the worst. When it's not pausing, it just zotzes out and sends me back to the main screen. No other service does this. Not Hulu itself, just live TV.

Bill Clinton and Bernie fighting over healthcare for all in the 90s. Hillary got us CHIP. Obama gave us the ACA. Republicans have fought all of this all along. The next time the Dems have the House, Senate, and White House, they should just GO FOR IT. Medicare for all. Act like Republicans.

Remember: The Speaker of the House sent everyone home, lest they vote on a bill to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. Time and time again, Republicans in the House voted to protect known rapist Donald John Trump. Every one of them is up for re-election in November. In a sane and rational world…

Do we REALLY have to wait until January 3 before anything is done about the extensive criminality of this administration? Are Congressional Republicans REALLY determined to allow Trump and his sycophants to do whatever they want, the Constitution be damned? What does the GOP campaign on?

Regrettably, we cannot blame Trump for depletion of the Strategic Petroleum Reserves. He's helping, but he's not the major cause. Because of rising gas prices and then the Russian invasion of Ukraine, President Biden drew the reserves down to about where they are today.

I really do have to wonder about the people who constantly and consistently appear on Sunday talk shows and LIE. I also wonder about the Sunday talk shows who constantly and consistently invite liars. Oh - and none of them are Democrats. That's weird, huh?

Donald John Trump is the worst president in American history. I don't know how you'd even argue this point. I guess you'd have to say that there was a WORSE president, but I can't think of one. Who else launched an attack on his own government?

dwight's law: Yes, I was named after then-current President Eisenhower. My new law dictates that we never again elect a president older than me. (Obama was the first one younger, and I thought that would be the trend. Silly me.)
