The NTP has confirmed an EF1 tornado that affected Winnipeg on June 29. Damage to houses, commercial buildings and trees were found during a damage survey led by NTP partner Prof. John Hanesiak at the University of Manitoba. Full details at the NTP blog here: uwo.ca/ntp/blog/202... #MBstorm

In addition to the tornado that the NTP confirmed in SW MB on Aug 5, we have now confirmed two tornadoes that occurred NE of Winnipeg on Aug 6. The Aug 6 tornadoes were assigned EF0 ratings after a damage survey was conducted. Details can be found here: uwo.ca/ntp/blog/202... #MBstorm

After extensive analysis, the NTP is able to provide documentation for the 10 tornadoes that occurred as part of an outbreak in southern SK on June 19th. The outbreak included 2 EF2 and three EF1 tornadoes. Full details at www.uwo.ca/ntp/blog/202... #SKstorm
