I write stories for videogames, that I intend to convert into real games using Godot.

I joked on Reddit that someone should make a cooking roguelike. One of my close friends, who owned a bakery in Barcelona, passed away in 2024. I imagined a game featuring him but I can't come up with gameplay. Something like Isaac but gathering ingredients? What do you think? #gamedev #indiedev

An older idea was to borrow Tarzan (PS1) with faster gameplay from DKC. I'd base it in Vietnam during the war and feature both jungle and battlefield areas. The animals living there are fascinating. It would be 2.5d with modern graphics. #gamedev #indiedev #indiegame

Basically Pepsi Man but you're an Eastern European man running away from hazards. There would be a rear view mirror kind of thing and fast-paced action, with very tight controls. The soundtrack would be speed metal but played on traditional slavic instruments like the balalaika. #gamedev #indiedev

I could be close to replacing my computer with something more apt for gamedev. Right now I have this: Intel Core i3-4030U 1.9 Ghz dual core / quad thread 8 GB 1TB SSD Intel HD Graphics 4400

Several of my stories happen in 'toy view'. It's a perspective that fascinates me. Has anyone played It Takes Two? I feel like it could already have all the puzzles that I would have implemented. #gamedev

I live near the sea and the heatwave has hit us hard. It's 31ºC during the day with 75% humidity. Has anyone made an indie game about extreme heat or the desert?

The easiest game I could make is a 2d platformer about the little Korean girl but the original story doesn't match the visual tone. Could I release a cozy game with uncomfortable plot? The original story is very sad, but I like very intense stories. #gamedev #indiedev

I saw and enjoyed The Backrooms (2026). My buddy was sighing during the whole thing because he didn't understand. I made my own theories about things and it's one of the more fun aspects of it. I also watched the series before the film. The film can be watched alone. #film #films #backrooms #cine

New game from the creator of Hypogea. Seems to have the same great inter-generational PS2 atmosphere, but from the movement I'd wish the character had more weight. In the previous game the staff controls the pace, which pleases me. It's a complaint I have with many other games.

I'm a very inexperienced player, so reaching this point after a long half an hour, and no accesibility options, felt quite amazing. After some medication change, I feel my brain is now wired for 'repeat without frustrations' which is what this game and many others need. #celeste #indiegame #indie
