Brooklyn's own. The guy when your friend "knows a guy". Designer. Illustrator. Writer. Composer. Plays games kinda good sometimes.

god, you guys, just buy the indie game that looks kinda cool. don't play the demo, don't agonize over the reviews or wishlist, JUST BUY THE INDIE GAME!! if you didn't like it, oh well, whatever, maybe next time, meanwhile you supported an artist, thanks for coming to the gig, want a t-shirt?

I wouldn't trust the opinion of someone who does not regularly engage with modern fighters on what a good fighting game is, either. That's like trusting someone who's never left Brooklyn to tell you what's the best place to eat in New Orleans.

I hate what capitalism has done to our concepts of time. Everything must be completed in a "logical time" like people are projects. You are not a project manager, you are a a people.

Man, the 2XKO discourse has been underlining something I've been feeling for a while: Is it just me or are too many FG veterans just plain miserable? It feels like the line between who advocates for the genre with excitement and who just plays their one game from 25 years ago is generational.

When your timeline is filled with queer folks and brown/Black people singing the praises of and loudly mourning a 1940s-Tennessee-born white Boomer lady, welp. She was pretty goddamn extraordinary, you can assume.

Imagine being talented and beautiful and rich and famous and still the most noteworthy thing about you is how good a person you are.

They said straight up they wanted to disenfranchise women and people of color. They said they wanted to dismantle the federal government. And the likes of Thiel funded them for building the plans on how to do it. And _nobody cared_ when this shit was pointed out. People thought you were crazy.
