Our NYC apt is our primary residence, academics dont get paid enuf to buy a 2nd home. Yet, we do not agree that the "rich" should pay more building tax on their pied d' terres in NYC. The building & the city are benefitting from their absence ( trash generation, energy usage, city services.)
