Cerro Carpio #SOTA EA5/VL-042 last weekend at the border between Alicante and Cuenca. Very short activation due to sporadic heavy rains. Poor propagation on 20m. Using 9m "random" wire 1:9 unun and 5w FT817. Worked Juerg HB9BIN at Sao Miguel Açores as the only out from cont. EU 73 ES TKS! #hamradio

Nice #SOTA activation yesterday from Ereñozar Mt. EA2/BI-057. Just a NA QSO but It was the best signal I've ever received from USA. Robert KD1CT (NH) arrived at a true 579-599 on 20m CW. I used EH2EUS/P, SES conmemorating the Basque Language Int. Day. TKS 2 chasers! #hamradio #amateurradio
