Some photos from my day, cutting weeds out of rainforest.
Have to admit, I didn't think I was missing out, not seeing jellybabys at the end. But like wow is this the usual, or a rather pretty local mold, like the beautiful yellow bolete eater.
I know they are introduced ferals, both the pines and the fly argics, but..... how magical is walking through pines amongst giant red and white mushrooms? Definitely a good way to end the day :)

Today was a very wet day stomping through very wet rainforest.
In 1995 these #Aconophora compressa, lantana plant/tree hoppers, were released as biocontrol for the introduced weed #Lantana camara. So much food, and good parental care means theres so so many now. and they have been discovered on some qld native species :/ 1/2
Today I saw a lot of once were spiders. Most were very small. But some were the sort of kraken gibs I do so enjoy in #zombie spiders :) 2 examples from the lantana
