Some Gargoyles studies I did a while back! They're tests to see how I can translate the characters in my style without losing their likeness. Angela's sheet shows some of the process I did to achieve that, but it's a bit wordy so I won't bore with the details. I'm pleased with how they came out! :)

if you want to know how important it is for you to do this math: the fees patreon took from me in 2025 add up to roughly 3 months of income. that's 3 months of income i would have paid taxes on if i didn't deduct the fees from the 1099. 3 months of income i never actually had!

reminder when you're doing your taxes, the number patreon is putting on your 1099 is the gross and they DO NOT exclude all the money they took from you in fees. you need to deduct that yourself as business expenses. an easy ("easy") way to do that is to download your earnings by month
