I always hear Don Pardo introduce cool actors when they pop up in stuff. “ANNNEEEETTE BENIIIIING!”

Well you’re dead now, so shut up.
Oh shit, Alanna Ubach just popped up in this. I only found out who she is a few months ago, not realizing I knew her from a million things, and she’s just an absurdly talented actress with crazy range.
Mick Gordon is going to perform the DOOM (2016) soundtrack live with a full orchestra, and naturally it’ll be very far away from me, and so my eyeballs are in no danger of melting, and I hate that for myself. Only video game soundtrack I ever paid for, twice (CD and vinyl). It fucking rules.
Oh shit, there’s a new John Carpenter album out. Looks like I’ve gotta make space in my record collection.
Get off me arse, ye wee bitty fuck If I pull out the claymore, you’re shit out of luck.
“You don’t come to a place with poisonous chickens if you’re not sure your vehicles will hold up.”
Sometimes you just gotta watch a very bubbly/maybe fucked up Britney Murphy renting movies, and feel sad.
“She's tried to make of her soul a garden, so to speak, but the other-her's words dig into the soil and overturn it, exposing what is wet and wriggling there to the light of day.” I love this line in The Fisherman, by @johnlangan.bsky.social So uncomfortable. Great horror writing.

The stupidest thing ever made the newest Spider-Man movie an improvement over the last few, and it’s that they had Tom Holland actually wear a fabric costume that wasn’t pointlessly covered by a CG costume in post. Bunched up wrinkles and shit; the real thing looks real.
Ian McShane doing a great Bill Sanderson impression is the funniest shit ever to me.

I’m still waiting for the world to catch up on how fucking badass this movie is.
There’s nothing at the top but a bucket and a mop, and an illustrated book about birds. You’ll see a lot up there, but don’t be scared, who needs actions when you’ve got words?
When you’re finished with the mop then you can stop and look at what you’ve done. The plateau is clean, no dirt to be seen, and the work it took was fun.
They used to love me at karaoke. I was somebody, back then.

Flipping through some early Savage Dragon issues, and for some reason I’m just now realizing what a huge influence Walt Simonson’s art was on Erik Larsen.
Can’t miss what I’ve never used.
I have one answer.
