Nature, night, fire, canids, corvids, misanthropy, biocentrism. They/them.

In The Before Times, the East Germany Stasi had a name for it — Zersetzung (decomposition or disruption) or the pathological fragmentation of being with a person stripped of any self-identity and also called anomie. www.thenation.com/article/soci...

The “Merge” With AI Has Already Begun

Sarah Kendzior Predicted the Rise of Trump Years Ago—Here’s What She Thinks Now

To write that kind of piece for the Mail, Telegraph, etc, you have to feel on some level that your targets aren't really human and that the lives you're damaging don't matter. They're just little pieces in a game

Doing Origin Story reveals a few core narratives in history. One is: "This thing didn't really matter until right-wing journalists and activists twisted it into a moral panic that destroyed people's lives for no good reason and then moved on"

What if the Department of Homeland Security knows exactly what they're doing with the outrage bait and they're counting on you to spread their memes

The American "justice system" is not broken. The system is a perfectly functioning meat grinder, a rolling border wall, a plantation ledger, a movable death warrant. High tech robotic policing of necropolitical death worlds, deciding who gets to breathe and whose bones feed the machine.

Our loved ones did nothing wrong, and they are being thrown away for the rest of their lives. Not only does the evidence prove their innocence, but the actions of ICE and the federal government over the past year have proven the righteousness of their actions.

“The raid was part of a sweeping effort by the federal government and far-right media figures to spin up a vast far-left conspiracy casting antifascist activists as well-organized extremists who pose a threat to public safety.”

FBI Raided Texas Activist’s House — Then Offered Her $200,000 to Become Antifa Informant

During the raid, federal agents asked about links between the woman and Prairieland — suggesting a sprawling conspiracy that fits with Trump’s attacks on antifa.

and none of those pieces are being written by people who understand how that level of constant abuse CHANGES you it’s not a mere tedious cleanup process, blocking today’s round of trolls just like sorting out the junk mail from the bills and birthday cards it does not live on you that lightly

The thing that keeps getting me about all the pieces fretting about Bluesky being too insular is that the argument seems to be that those of us who are most likely to be abused by the right (BIPOC people, trans people, queer people, etc) must put up with being abused for the sake of public discourse

I've never shared this before, but did have a few years back video of coyotes kinda coexisting with others. An expert told me coyotes in sub/urban settings have so much easier prey due to humans + inadvertently directly from humans that they predate on opossums and raccoons less than in rural areas.

I need your feedback. A disabled person is barely surviving on $1550/month. They’re traumatized, exhausted, and in severe pain. It 𝘮𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 be cancer. They’re experiencing domestic violence. They need to find a new home hundreds of miles away. Should they start a Gofundme for an affordable used car?
