2x witness of puke on a NBA court.

Is Houser throwing a routine BP or are they actually warming him up to get an out or two the day before a bullpen game

Corey Seager whiffing a ton this year, constantly injured, and slow as hell? Rangers better move off his contract and get a younger, more reliable SS like Adames in exchange...

I just wish Tidwell’s repertoire was a little more developed. Sinker -1.5 MPH off FF, a lot of sweepers to lefties which will get crushed. I’d also want to see what a split looks like from him

Pavs calls time on the Giants deadline, which means no Brubaker trade. Seems inexplicable given how little flexibility the Giants bullpen has. I assume Houser will take a rotation spot now, bc him, Brubaker, Hentges, Foley, and Winn are locked into roster spots and Smith may be too.

Mayer has one tangibly sticky trait and that's his bat speed. His drop in contact quality and SweetSpot% this season could be indicative that there's a mechanical adjustment to be made. So it's not like there's no upside in grabbing a 2B with 5.5 years of control.

Mayer has the power profile of a dude who really needs his hit tool to translate and he's got a .204 xBA in the Majors. He's also very clearly not a SS. I just don't know man this feels like Luis Matos all over again

I'm still processing this one and idk. Mayer has great bat speed but has been hurt a lot and has only really hit one out of the last four years. Trading a very good pre-arb reliever for a buy low doesn't seem like great business. Maybe the Giants can get him to break out.

Feinsand has Henry Lalane as one of the prospects coming to San Francisco. 6'7" lefty who gets a silly amount of whiffs on his SL and CH. Sits 94 on the FB. $350k signing bonus in 2021 IFA class

Ramos will be entering arbitration and has been a 102 wRC+ bat over his last 1256 PA. He's a worthwhile flier for the Yankees– who are down Judge, Bellinger, and Stanton– to take, but it's also reasonable for the Giants to move on now.

Giants have two rotation spots open after trading Mahle and Ray. One will likely go to Tidwell. I'd like to see Trent Harris get a shot with Houser piggybacking.

Mendez is the 4th ranked prospect in the Padres system but that's also because it's the Padres system. He's probably a reliever with an alright FB/SL combo

The Giants will take half the money owed to Robbie Ray, including half the $1 million assignment bonus, in the trade to San Diego. They get Joniel Hernandez, a 17 year old SS from Cuba who got a $1.4 million bonus in Jan. and RHP Miguel Mendez, who was a top-5 prospect in SD system.

Padres are still operating pretty tight on payroll, so I would expect the Giants to pay down most, if not all, of Ray's deal. Might be able to get a decent prospect here.
