The EBRD

The official account of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. We invest in changing lives.

From Lviv to Kharkiv, EBRD support is helping Ukrainian cities improve heating, transport, water and other vital services for hundreds of thousands of people.

A busy day for the EBRD delegation at #URC2026. We've announced a number of key investments to support Ukraine’s economic resilience, held important meetings with key donors & partners and took part in the important debates on Ukraine’s future. Since Feb 2022, we’ve deployed over €10B in Ukraine.

Today at #URC2026, we signed a €90M loan with Ukrenergo to finance the reconstruction of key substations, supporting Ukraine’s energy resilience. This builds on EBRD’s continued support for Ukraine’s energy sector, helping restore critical infrastructure and keep power on for people & businesses
