I still think about good ol' Sheriff Hayseed now and then. If I ever revisit it, I'd do so many things different, it would be completely unrecognizable. I drew the boys as they exist in my head now. I think Todd would be Canadian.

I know people are upset with my response, which is fine, but I kind of just wanted to make a cartoon, & it's ended up being way more trouble than it's worth. I really just can't keep my heart in this thing anymore. It's gotten too much bigger than me, & I probably shouldn't be the figurehead of it.

Every year for Pride, I repost Hue. I made him to send love and comfort to those who feel Pride isn’t for them because they aren’t out. You matter, you are valid, and it’s ok if you aren’t ready yet. Coming out is not a requirement for being part of this community. Happy Pride 🌈

I think on a more serious note I want to tell those during Pride month who stay in the closet for their safety, who are out but feel isolated in their local community, and who don’t have access to gender affirming medical care due to shitty governments or costs, you are seen and not alone.
