Happy gotcha day to Mina the cat! It’s crazy that it has been six (!) years.

I can’t get in to see my physical therapist so I booked my first ever massage. The web site said to “undress to your level of comfort” so now I have to figure out where to get a wet suit on short notice.

Ok kid, this is the water fountain. If you don’t wait for it to flow, you WILL wet your nose. If that happens it is vital that you rub your nose on the first human you see.

So Goose the kitten has decided to learn how to Cat by following Mina around. Mina, having been raised by Prussia the dog and being really special, is the worst example of how to Cat. Now I have two puppy kitties.

I was trying to get the kitten’s attention last night and said “Maverick to Goose! Talk to me Goose!” which the kids found hilarious and now they keep calling the kitten Goose. So I may have accidentally named her Goose.

You know what doesn’t carry an explosive diarrhea parasite? Donuts. That’s why today’s lunch was a donut.

I bought the kitten a new toy so naturally she has been playing with a tumbleweed of Prussia’s hair for the last 10 minutes.

Current name contenders: Cricket, Snickers or Willow.

Mina is just not sure about our new addition, so she is in the laundry claiming a blanket.

Brought the new kitten home in a raging thunderstorm and naturally the power is out. I promise pics when I have actually light.

Interviewed an applicant for a little sister for Mina the Cat today. She is a 12-13 week old Bengal kitten. The rescue says she was likely dumped for having too much energy. We will see if we are selected as her family.

I don’t wear makeup often, but I had it on for the wedding we went to yesterday and y’all, even though I washed it off last night I apparently reacted to the new mascara and woke up functionally blind. So now I am navigating DFW with limited sight. Blinded by drugstore makeup.

Why am I suddenly getting ads everywhere on my social media for a “large personal watermelon”. I have seen six watermelon ads today.
