Nice to see Burnham clearing out a large chunk of the rota from the last Government. Wish it was everyone but at least some of the most incompetent people are finally gone like Peter Kyle, Liz Kendall, and Steve Reed.

The last 90 minutes or so of The Odyssey might be flawless filmmaking honestly.

If I was a journalist I would simply not fawn over my subject like a teenage girl meeting their famous crush.

Jez is in an "Executive Editor" at a gaming news outlet. I think saying "I'm not a journalist" is a massive shirking of editorial standards and expectations especially when he lead his tweet with this article with "BREAKING". I am not berating the man, I am holding him to a standard as my peer.

I'm sorry but why once again do you decide to berate a fellow colleague within game media? Firstly, Jez himself is the first person to say he's not a journalist, just like lots of other people in the industry clarifies.

The idea of investing more in Starfield is honestly baffling to me.

We really havent got past the praise and glowing obituaries for despicable people. Honestly, we don't have to say nice things about terrible people in this country.

Woke up to the news Ann Widecombe has died which is honestly a great sign for the rest of the year given Reform is falling apart.

It can be hard to perceive the real-world impacts these moves have outside of the art that doesn't get made, but I really cannot overstate how brutal the Romero Games' rugpull was for the whole Irish games industry. Basically, everyone here knew someone affected.

The Elder Scrolls 6 Heavily Impacted by Xbox Layoffs, Team Morale at Rock Bottom.

Decided to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint for some reason and this might be the most Ubisoft game to ever Ubisoft. Truly bleak game design.

This is when everyone pretends to have played/bought Avowed after it failed to find a large enough crowd twice. Also this is when we all pretend not to have wanted an Obsidian Fallout for +10 years. Of course the how/why sucks, but it is what it is.

Listen, I love Obsidian but why you would greenlight an Avowed sequel is baffling. A game which underperformed and came and went. Like who is making these decisions.

I don't really know where Undead Labs ends up, but I hope Focus Entertainment picks up Ninja Theory. It's a really good match and Focus are arguably one of the best publishers around right now.
