I never said I was doing anything stupid. Thanks for the confidence boost, ChatGPT.

Struggling screenwriter. Will write for food, management, or three-picture deal.
I'm reading Blacklist screenplays. Movies I've got no preconceived notions about. I read 2 of them - really enjoy them. ah yes, this must be the opposite of how people feel when they read my stuff. Then I read a 3rd. 20 pages in. This. sucks. This must be how people feel when they read my stuff.
Why is the cheese in cartoons always swiss cheese?
The newly resurrected Commodore is doing something awesome: commodore.net/store/tac-2/ The TAC-2 returns! @ausretrogamer.bsky.social I want 10 of them!... but not at $50 each. Guess I miss out.

Throwback to my DVD/Blu-Ray/4K room a few years ago. At the time there would have been a few thousand items in the collection. It has since grown by 1,000 (or 2). Unfortunately I no longer have the room to display it so these days everything is in tubs. It was good while it lasted.
Movies like Can't Buy Me Love, Idiocracy, What About Bob?, White Chicks, and a million others don't have a 4K or even a Blu-Ray release, but someone has decided SPIKE OF BENSONHURST is worthy of an upcoming 4K. What world is this?
I completed the game Horace today, and got over 1,000,000 pieces of junk collected. Took me a little over 18 hours. As an occasional arcade gamer that doesn't spend more than a few minutes on a game, I feel like I've wasted a little over 18 hours of my life. But I finished it and you didn't. Nerr.
I've been trying to like the game Myst for over 30 years. Every few years I try, and every few years I can't stand it.
Variety is reporting Harold & Kumar 4 is on track and "Everybody's back". People may remember him as that guy from that movie with the Santa and the Clausing, but @davidkrumholtz.bsky.social as Goldstein will forever be his best role, so I'm looking forward to this.
I went to check a domain at whois.sc and got this. I get it. Bots and AI are out of hand, but this is ridiculous. Any decent bot can get past a QR code. It just makes things difficult for me.
News of a Britney Spears biopic script so I think "I wonder if that will bring back the WNTTAB podcast" I go to wnttab.com and get an open source link shortener, which is the strangest domain squatting I've ever seen (and the reason for this post).
This is great. A virtual 3D Criterion closet: the-criterion-closet.vercel.app I wonder if it works with VR headsets. @vanthebrand.bsky.social

It's scary how close the box office and budget numbers are for the original 1997 Anaconda and the meta-reboot from 2025.
It's not often that I buy a movie immediately after watching it for the first time, but I just watched, loved and bought "Big Man On Campus (1989)". Think Encino Man meets The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame.
I found this building on Google Maps. That's a lot of lawyers.
Animal Crackers (1930): Mark it fragilly. F-R-A-G... Look it up, Jamison, it's in the dictionary. Look under "fragile." That's 53 years before the joke was plagiarized and made popular in A Christmas Story (1983).
Ryan Gosling. 'sup. I've always been indifferent about you. No hate or anything. You're just a dude. But I just watched this Colbert Questionert (www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNRJ...) where you said your fave movie is No Retreat, No Surrender. You're now a cool dude. Hit me up.

I just saw the #MARCHintosh hashtag, which I guess is related to Mac computers. Why wasn't #MAYcintosh used instead? This way it would've kinda sounded like Macintosh. If I had a time machine and it could only be used once, this is what I'd go back and fix.
I buy a lot of physical media but rarely do I need to boast about my latest pickup. A title that, in 2026, would only appeal to a subset of a subset of people.
I have decided I want to meet Jason Bateman. If you can make this happen, let me know.
Me to wife: I've got an idea for a new movie. Wife: No. Your next movie is going to be a guy. He's at home on his computer, and then a series of events. And it's action, and a thriller. Like John Wick. So I have my next movie. A guy who does something and then a series of action packed events.
@vanthebrand.bsky.social Yo. That's all. Just yo.

My next movie script has been completed. It has been submitted to a reviewer* that does not think I am funny, so this is going to be a tough sell. * (wife)
I'm about 20% into a new script. I've got all the beats planned. There's a crucial bit that moves the story along that I was proud of when I noted it down. Funny stuff. I'm watching the new Naked Gun movie. THAT BIT APPEARS IN THE MOVIE! WTF?! At least it confirms that I can write Hollywood humor.
I watched an '80s romantic comedy that I'd never seen before. Quite a few scenes (one in particular) had the same feel to the movie I've written. I take that as a positive because that '80s/'90s romantic comedy feel is what I was aiming for. Shame there's no market for it these days. #ScriptSky
