After a pre lunch delivery, I managed to actually get my beer made - it's a tropical stout for an upcoming swap with another homebrew club:)

Brewed the Belgian Strong Golden Ale recipe from the Greg Hughes book today, haven't used candi sugar for a while so was fun. Grains composted and yeast pitched:)

Been a bit slow on the brewing recently, a buddy in work gave me this Düsseldorf alt kit so I've had a go on Thursday Also turned this cheap 33l AliExpress SS pan into a fermenter so we'll see how that goes.

Not the best hop harvest this year, got a bit more than pictured but only 200g in the end. Vacuum sealed and popped in the freezer. Will be enough to finish my spring golden ale next year. Variety: Goldings
