After his masterpiece Choose Me Alan Rudolph made two noir-y comedies - Trouble in Mind and this. I saw TiM in the theater and was disappointed, so I never caught up with this ‘til tonight. It’s sensational, a GREAT script. Berenger works hard, he’s quite funny. Perkins should have been nominated.
This sucks. He’s my personal favorite color commentator of all time.
