Didn't actually post much about Kowloon's Gate here because we were just going through it but the basic takeaway is the game has a save-corrupting bug and that's unfortunate so we might pick it back up later but ultimately its a "vibes game" and we like "story games" so its a bit eh for us
insanely funny how we kept expecting to get shit for leaving negative reviews for like Bloodborne and Shadowbringers and instead its a "yeah man this might not be for me but I wanna pick it back up again later" on Kowloon's fuckin Gate

we're very glad we recognized the horrors of it and aggressively avoid things like Vampire Survivors and Nubby on a personal level but it's really wild that like, a good portion of indie games just suddenly became about making slot machines, insanely evil devices that ruin lives

Yeah after a day I still feel it. We adopted calling ourselves trans when we were still fooling ourselves into thinking we were a single person. It could only work for us in that context. It feels alienating now because we don't fit in that dichotomy. -J
