One of the best parts of academia is mentoring students & witnessing their growth: intellectually, professionally & personally. This privilege also makes the job bittersweet when students complete training. It's been an absolute joy to supervise this wonderful group of students at Oxford EDGE Lab.
A very insightful talk by Vikram Patel on reimagining healthcare for 1.5 billion people last night, followed by a thoughtful conversation with Alan Stein on the challenges and implementation steps required to move toward universal health care coverage in India.
