Edinburgh Bibliographical Society

The Edinburgh Bibliographical Society promotes the study of books and manuscripts of any date, particularly Scottish. Founded in 1890, it is the oldest such society in the world and the only extant one with a Scottish focus.

We're very excited about this upcoming workshop & seminar series (next week!), which is bringing bibliographers & book historians from 5 continents to Edinburgh to investigate what historical library registers and catalogues can tell us about global histories of mathematics, science, and technology.
