What kind of native New Yorker is living off Little Caesar’s cardboard pizza? What deal did they make to have it shown about 6 times in the first four minutes of Spider-Man: Terrible Taste in Pizza? There’s no truth in this art!

I can’t believe I applied for a job that asked if I was proficient using Windows 98. Is it a test? Is it a joke? I honestly don’t know.
“At least this one doesn’t have blood splatters on it” - out of context thing my wife said in a totally normal conversation
I’ve coincidentally been on a Godzilla kick recently, and I loved Horror of Godzilla #1 by @ethansparker.bsky.social & @grifsheridan.bsky.social. It has such a fun, dark, messed up tone I really clicked with. @tristansbones.bsky.social art is fantastic, every panel of Godzilla is so menacing.
@kellythompson.bsky.social do you know the new date Buffy #1 will be released?
The 76ers still not making it past the second round of the playoffs would be the funniest outcome after getting Brown and LeBron.
I really enjoyed the callbacks in TMNT #300. Getting any new Mirage Comics material will always bring me joy.
I overall enjoyed Frank Miller’s Push the Wall, but it’s way too short. There are some highs and lows of his career that barely or ever get touched on. I needed at least 5 chapters explaining what the hell happened with All Star Batman & Robin
The Odyssey is wonderful, one of the most epic movies in years. But all these years later, Monty Python and the Holy Grail still pulls the rug out from movies. Between “Run Away, run away!” and “It’s only a flesh wound,” it’s still satirizing modern films.
I won what's now my fourth page from my first comic, Sensational Spider-Man #12. Art by @joshuahood.bsky.social and John Lowe. I love adding these pages to my collection more than anything else.
Clipping a baby’s fingernails should qualify as an Olympic event.
This week, we talk Supergirl (since the rest of you didn't bother to watch it), X-Men '97 season 2, and meeting Stephen King while smelling like cheese! iTunes: tinyurl.com/bde5s2z6 Spotify: tinyurl.com/yxtd3uda
Jaylen Brown for Paul George? I am not a merry man. Great, the Celtics got some picks, but I hate this trade.
I don’t see how the Celtics can lose now that they’ve signed NBA H-O-R-S-E participant Mike Conley!
Mike Conley is getting a one-year contract with Boston at the veteran minimum amount. Good guard depth for the Celtics behind Derrick White and Payton Pritchard. Boston was short on ballhandling at various points last season.
Disney, in their infinite wisdom, can now show a side of Buffy the Vampire Slayer I’ve never seen before by changing the show from its original aspect ratio. Including this cameraman.
Here’s a reminder on Mel Brooks’ 100th birthday that Dracula: Dead and Loving It is underrated. Young Frankenstein works without having seen any of the old Universal movies. The same can’t be said for Dracula: Dead and Loving It, but if you’ve seen the classic movies, it’s really funny.
Supergirl is frustrating because it feels like WBD didn’t believe in it enough to give it the budget it deserved. Instead of being bright and vibrant, it has to hide behind dark and murky scenes to mask subpar CGI. It would be an infinitely better movie if it had the resources to look interesting.
This is my favorite book on the shelves right now, so great to see it getting adapted! I’m really curious to see how that cape will work in animation.
ABSOLUTE BATMAN is going to be an animated series! Can’t even begin to tell you guys how excited Nick and I are to be working on this - so grateful to Warner Brothers animation and DC Studios!
I really got into this. I love the Universal Monsters, and this is a gory update with that feels familiar, but more human than the classic movies. The last page sets a darkly funny tone. I’ll definitely pick up the next issue!
Unleashed onto bookstands today - UNIVERSAL MONSTERS: BLOOD OF THE WOLF MAN #1 from myself, Leomacs and @pipmartin.bsky.social! This @skybound.bsky.social horror miniseries kicks off in a bloody fashion, so get your copies and dig in...
I just want to get the Giannis trade over with so I can stop checking my phone every 12 seconds.
Here’s a page of John Romita Jr.’s art I have framed on my wall. Taste varies from person to person, but could the internet not be terrible?
I’ve become such an old man that whenever I have to jump down as Indiana Jones in The Great Circle, my reaction is “That must be so hard on his knees.”
Reading The Clone Saga for the first time. Pray for me.
I loved Clayface: Celebrity Dirt #1 by @judedoyle.bsky.social and Fran Galan. Great horror imagery, leans into DC history, and has a solid mystery at the center of it. FOC is 6/15, definitely one to add to your pull list!
So DC is out there announcing a new book that spoils a reveal in Absolute Catwoman #1 a day before it comes out? That’s a choice.
The Buffy Back Issue Bin returns to discuss the passing of Anthony Head and Nicholas Brendon. And with new Buffy and Angel comics coming out, we talk about the future of the show. Apple: tinylink.net/Uk9eA Spotify: tinylink.net/enBSh
Anthony Stewart Head passing away is devastating. What a legend.
I don’t think the Fortress of Solitude remained very well hidden after Superman installed a series of large arrows to point the way.
You just don’t see enough of Superman using his Super Ventriloquism powers these days. What can’t he do?
