The Milk Carton Kids have remained committed to a simple idea: music can help turn down the volume on a chaotic world and make room for what matters most. With roots-leaning arrangements and a deep trust in space, the duo expands their signature minimalist sound while making it even more focused.

The Mbira Renaissance Band is one of Edmonton's most exciting groups. Their first full-length 2025 album, "Roto", reached the top spot on the CKUA radio charts in its first week. Moving between traditional repertoires and originals the band sings of family, heritage, celebrations and gatherings.

At some point you confront the fact that you’ve evolved into the person you’ll be forever. "Believer", by Sister Ray, is a folk project led by Toronto-based singer-songwriter Ella Coyes. They evaluate what it means to hold your centre while reappraising how to make sense of the world.
