Friday’s workshop was a joy to host. ☺️ We brought together researchers and activists to talk about LGBTQ+ criminalization, discrimination at work and in parenting, dating bias, and how the far right weaponizes LGBTQ issues. Grateful to everyone involved and to VU's VICES for the support. 🏳️🌈
Today I presented the second paper of my PhD dissertation at the Utrecht University Migration & Societal Change Conference. The paper is titled: "The Role of Societal and Political Misrecognition in Support for the Populist Radical Right."
I am happy to share that my (first) article has been published in the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies (JEMS). This paper is part of my PhD dissertation. The study was co-authored by Özge Bilgili, Lieselotte Blommaert, and Marcel Lubbers. Open access: doi.org/10.1080/1369...
