Some people claim to be very worried about the slop quality of AI coding, and yet they're also happy using the exact same tools to find hundreds or thousands of vulnerabilities in their own traditionally coded software.

When an AI can code a week's worth of dev work in an hour, planning becomes a greater and greater bottleneck. It's like a wish fulfilment machine that needs a constant supply of thought through wishes. That's a genuinely weird situation with no prior parallel in human history.

Massive early mistake from Andy Burnham. Shabana Mahmood should be nowhere near government after the pure evil stint she put in at the Home Office under Starmer. Instead, she stays in post to keep kicking immigrants further and harder.
