#poetry To the apartment I thought I’d get in NY. To the plans we made to move out of town. To the seat I thought I’d have at your wedding. To the chair next to yours when we grew old. To your dreams of living in a boat. Each of you, hastily buried in a drawer of things I can’t look at anymore.
Some nights I need music that hurts, guitar strings dragged across something open, a voice soft enough that I stop holding on. I wail until my chest gives out, until there's finally room for the grief to build instead of sit, heavy, inside me. Then I let it happen again. Again. Again. #poetry

Hi, I‘m Jenny. Most of my family is kinda crazy one way or the other, I‘m exhausted. I could go into details, but I’d rather not. How is everyone?
I‘m supertired, fam. I don‘t have the nerve for my mum‘s attitude („medication is poison!!!“ Haha 😞) or cooking today, so I may just order food, take a shower and call it a day.
Please don‘t say you‘re „bedbound“ just because you haven’t gotten out of bed for a day. Especially not to a nurse and also not to my easily panicked brother. That’s not what this word means.
Mum has mailed my (half) brother and been a drama queen, he got worried, asked me, I messaged her and now she has called him „a gossipy old lady 🙄“. I bet my ass she‘s been careless. She doesn’t wanna say because „you‘d scold me, don’t want that“. Suggestion: don’t play with your health, mother? 😑
