I will try to strive for Keyboard+mouse, and gamepad for the gamedev thing. For KB+M, a dual system based on a mix of Might and Magic 6+ and Morrowind. FPV with typical mouselook, but switchable to a mode with a cursor instead. I hope it will serve both kinds of needs - looking and investigating.
