Eik does not trust very easily in others to begin with. He would have no problem overlooking minor, moderate, perhaps even some significant faults or mistakes from the select few he does place his trust in. Only the most egregious betrayals to his well-being would cause mistrust. #wolqtd #Eiklore

Eik was born in the Golmore Jungle, initially raised to be a wood-warder for his Viera tribe. That is until he strived for more than an isolated existence and ventured out on his own. He eventually finds a home in Rabanstre, with an adoptive foster family, where he can truly say he was "raised".

Slightly better than he did during his warring years in Dalmasca, Bozja, and Garlemald. Back then he would ignore the compliment and return to whatever task was at hand. Nowadays he at least acknowledges it by doing that scoff where you blow air out through your nose.

Eik is highly self critical, struggles with a damaged sense of identity, and often deflects praise. After losing his home of Dalmasca/Rabanastre to the Garleans, losing his adoptive family to Livia, and having his chance of revenge against Livia taken away, his self worth had taken a huge hit.
