Copyediting comes before proofreading. As your copyeditor, I correct grammatical and punctuation errors, catch inconsistencies, improve clarity and conciseness, and check basic facts. As your proofreader, I correct any remaining errors and typos. Read below to learn more. ⚡📚💙

Sunday, I turned 60. We celebrated by eating out (lasagna), walking in Atlantic Highlands, and having tiramisu at home. Jim gave me a squishmallow. I’m extending that celebration to you. Discount-offer details are in the comments. Message me if you are interested or have any questions. 💙📚⚡

Me with a squishmallow pressed to my left cheek. It looks like a cinnamon roll with two black eyes. I have reddish glasses, brown hair, and a yellow shirt.

One vital thing to keep in mind when writing your novel? Your readers. As your copyeditor, my goal is to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be. But for that to happen, your readers need to come first. 🌟Check out my sale in my previous post. It ends on July 31.

How is searching for the copyeditor ✍🏻 who is right for you and your manuscript like couch 🛋️ shopping? I was inspired to write this after sofa shopping with my sister last week. 🌟 Guess what? I will complete a 1,000-word sample copyedit of your manuscript—and it's free! 🌟

Text that says How is searching for the copyeditor who is right for you and your manuscript like couch shopping?

It's best to test each sofa before deciding which one fits your booty best. That's why just picking any old couch online isn't the best idea. It may look comfortable. But when it gets delivered, you may find it to be so hard that you can't get cozy or so soft that you sink into it and can't get up.

It's best to test out the person you're considering by asking them to complete a sample copyedit. That's why just hiring someone online without seeing how they work isn't the best idea. They may be cheap. But when you get your manuscript back, you may find added errors or a complete erasure of your writing style because they ran it through AI.

Guess what? I will complete a 1,000-word sample copyedit of your manuscript, so you can see how I can get your writing clear and as error-free as humanly possible so you can publish with confidence—and it's free!

I work with both fiction and nonfiction.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I had to give up on this puzzle. Not enough variety in color. 😕 It bored me. Readers also get bored without variety. Make sure your characters don't all speak the same way. Make sure your sentences vary in length. 📝 Then hire a copyeditor to catch anything else that could bore your readers.
