Remember, Kevin Feige has bosses whom he has to answer to, so don't automatically point the finger at him if you feel women and people of colour are being marginalised at Marvel. Chrissake, he was pushing for more diverse heroes back when Perlmutter was his boss.

Destin Daniel Cretton says that it isn’t Kevin Feige's fault that ‘WONDER MAN’ was cancelled. “If the business was right, we would be making that show because I know [Feige] loves that show as much as I do.” (Source: www.thewrap.com/creative-con...)

Also, the current CEO of Sony is the same jackass who made stupid studio-destroying decisions while he was in charge of Fox during the 00s. If this movie zigged where X-Men 3 zagged, I doubt it's because Tom Rothman has grown as an executive in the past 20 years.

They still suck the dick off Sony for making Spider-Verse whilst being the ones responsible for why they hate MCU Spider-Man. Name something you hate about MCU Spider-Man. Name all of them. Sony made that happen. Not even joking.

Most of the Marvel films made by Fox are grossly overrated except for Logan. I cannot wait until Disney officially declares that the Fox stuff is gone forever so we can just get on with a new version without sex offender stink.

X-Men: The Last Stand is one of the worst comic book films ever made and I refuse to hear out any attempted revisionism from people who clearly haven't actually rewatched the film in recent years.

Hell, I'd agrue Brand New Day's themes were the antithesis to this line of thinking. Peter spends the whole movie sheltering himself and as a result, things get worse because of it. Every bad thing that happens to Peter in the movie is a result of him clinging to the past and being miserable

People like HiTops think this is only good Spider-man story, there's no next chapter. It's always Peter being sad, almost quitting and start again... It's good for a movie, but you can't tell the same story over and over again. How many times we gonna see uncle Ben die, Gwen Stacy die...

"But how can you have no interest in Michael Bay's Transformers? Don't you LIKE dumb fun movies with giant robots?" Mate, I saw Iron Giant in the cinema as a kid. I think my personal bar for giant robot movies is a little higher than the oeuvre of Michael Bay.

Well, the movie did largely serve as a deconstruction of the lone wolf hero that the "Steve Ditko is the only true creator of Spider-Man" crowd seems to venerate. Spidey, the Punisher and [REDACTED] work alone, and they are MISERABLE. They get better when they socialise with others.

Tom Holland on the main message he hopes people take away from watching ‘SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY’ “You’re never truly alone. Sometimes in life, the bravest thing you can do is ask for help.” (via thatgrapejuice.net/entertainmen...)

I mean, have you actually watched the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films and NOT skipped through the boring bits? Said boring bits usually involve Kirsten Dunst as MJ (not that I blame the actress). Even TASM had a better romantic subplot than the Raimiverse films. Zendaya as MJ ultimately wins.

Mfs really out here talking about waiting for the "real MJ" and saying these two have no chemistry simply because MJ is Black. Tom Holland and Zendaya KILL these parts fr.
