A couple of observations on day 4 post cataract surgery: 1. I’m kicking myself. For not getting this done years ago. 2. It’s nice to be outside whiteout all the light refracting in my eyeball. 3. Holy shit, I look 8 years older when I look in the mirror.

The Cooper’s Hawk is back again today. This video was shot through the screen door. Prior to this, I left my truck door open for a few minutes & when I came back there was a bird in the back seat. I think he was escaping the under bird. #birds

This afternoon, a Cooper’s Hawk was wreaking havoc in my backyard. I don’t know if he caught anything, but this you goldfinch hit the window in a panic. I made it the usual towel bed, gave it water & let it rest. It recovered & flew off after an hour. #birds
