As of this moment 411 people of them 142 children have died of malnutrition in Gaza. These are the confirmed cases. The actual number is likely higher. This is unacceptable. Expect better. Demand better. Pressure your elected representatives to put an end to the madness.

The problem with the iPhone as a serious video/filmmaking tool is the aggressive pace of change. The physical form changes every 3 years or so. Once it’s introduced, there’s like 4 months before the accessories that make it useful come out and then you have 2.5 years before they become obsolete.

There was a terror attack in Jerusalem today against innocent Israeli Jews. There have been ongoing terror attacks against innocent Palestinians in Gaza every day since Israel broke the last ceasefire on March 18. The violence needs to end.

On the *low end* we’re looking at an 83% civilian casualty rate. They think they’ve killed 8900 actual fighters. Let me ask the obvious question: How on earth is this a mistake? Either the IDF are the most incompetent military in modern history, or this ratio is born of a deliberate policy.

IDF database suggests 83% of Gaza dead were civilians

Classified intelligence reveals Israel killed 8,900 militants by May, indicating an almost unparalleled proportion of civilian slaughter.

Let’s review: Israel won’t allow international journalists into Gaza to cover the situation and it’s…Checks notes…Killing the Palestinian journalists, but…Israel has nothing to hide about its conduct in Gaza. Did I get that right?

Bill Maher *still* hasn’t bothered to learn how to pronounce Mamdani’s name, but he’s apparently offended that he won’t come on Real Time. You know, because what Muslim politician wouldn’t want to field questions from Bill I-have-a-problem-with-Islam Maher?

Horse hitching post at Walmart, 2025. There’s a Mennonite community up here in the Soo, so Walmart reserved parking for them. This is what makes America great. Not cutting healthcare for the most vulnerable among us.

There’s a kind of emotional labor that doesn’t get enough attention. That for many people feels like selling out. I’m referring to the emotional labor of forgiving people for their moral blind spots. Not only is it NOT selling out, but it is essential in the maintenance of our humanity.

You know what would be better than recognizing the state of Palestine? Sanctioning the country engaged in a mass slaughter and starvation of Palestinians. The “S” in BDS. Deep cut, I know, but I’ve been around a minute.

I don’t think most Jews understand what a dangerous moment this is for our people. Israel and its defenders are undoing decades and decades of goodwill and progress on antisemitism. The lack of self-awareness is staggering and I think most can’t even hear this argument from a place of self-interest.

My family is in crisis. Aaron, my brother in-law, suffered a massive stroke and died at 48. To make matters worse, he was my mother in-law’s primary caregiver. Mom has severe dementia. My wife and I are in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to manage the situation, but we need all the help we can get.

The psychological warfare of showing the emaciated body of a starving Israeli hostage digging his own grave is so bone-chilling and awful. The cruelty is the point. The hostages need to be returned to their families.
