I go by LB. Cat mom. Wee Frasers Mom. Human. SamCaitaholic. Here to talk about that time I watched Outlander. And then watched it again. And again. You get it. 🏳️‍🌈🌈🦄🐝

Tiny mic drop 🎤 🫳 So many of the creatives and journalists have thanked the fans over the years, but Reshma has continually honored us as a part of the show. Sincerely hope this is not her last Outlander piece — we’ve had enough goodbyes! Let’s go back to the beginning with Jamie & Claire. K thx.

For one last time, my #Outlander recap. Thanks to Caitríona Balfe, Sam Heughan & the whole cast for giving a decade of their lives fo make a show about love. What can we say? We loved it. “It must have been love, but it’s over now.” ♥️ #CaitrionaBalfe #SamHeughan reshmago.substack.com/p/outlander-...

Caitríona & Sam’s reactions to Matt speaking about Fergus’ death 🥃. Sorry it’s choppy because it’s Live Photos strung together. Sam also has no clue why we’re laughing 😆. He looks behind him for the source. Sir, it’s your bestie’s face we are laughing at! Cait’s trying so hard to hold it together.

I’m dying 😆. I was in the third row for this and when MBR said Fergus’ death was a massive impact for Claire I couldn’t help it and blurted “Was it?!” She def heard me and glanced over, and cue our whole row giggling with her.

“we decided at a certain point that it wasn’t okay for a male journalist to ask female actresses certain questions and I think the same rule should apply to female journalists asking male actors. I think it should be equal respect”—well, said Caitríona👏🏽

"The next morning I went up to Craigh na Dun in search of a certain blue flower. The rest is our history." "Do you ever wish you had never seen that flower or touched that stone?" "Never."

Woke up thinking about the duality of the last line of the show. Even as I mull it over now, I'm not sure which she meant: "He is (my) home" or "He is home (with me)." They are both true. And the fact that they then call one another home together is breathtakingly (breath-givingly?) beautiful. 🥹

Wanna know something rude? When Jamie says “Remember me” to Claire, he is basically saying “Forget me not.” Cut to her trying to memorize his face while they make love… And then he magically plants the forget-me-nots while he’s not!dead. And that’s fine. 😭 #OutlanderFinale

I got gifted a design-your-own pair of #GoldenGoose sneakers earlier this year and had the artist draw sleeping, feet-holding bees on one and a dragonfly on the other. That passage is one of my favs in the books…and damn. Can’t believe it was the last scene Sam and Cait filmed 😭🐝🌺. #Outlander #Bees

I appreciate the questions asked a lot more than the answers given 😬. MBR seems to blame poor storytelling choices on “not having enough time” versus owning his decisions. To me that was the biggest fail—sticking to the book versus writing a final season that does justice to the rest of the show.

VIDEO: Here’s my chat with #Outlander showrunner Matt Roberts. We talk about the scene with Caitríona Balfe & Sam Heughan that bookended the series. And why certain stories were cut, the lack of Claire story & questions about “Faith.” #caitrionabalfe #samheughan www.indiewire.com/features/int...
