In retrospect, we were incredibly lucky to be born in the early era of videogames where many game creators couldn't just do what they wanted and had to come up with creative solutions to limitations.

Someone at work asked me what I was writing. And I said code for a game I was working on. And they said "I bet Chatgpt could make that." I replied "I doubt it. I don't really see a point in that. I prefer my knowledge to be my own, instead of another thing I have to rent from a big corporation."
