Ellie was quiet for a moment before nodding in agreement. “I hope so too.” A faint, bittersweet smile crossed her face. “Scientific progress should come with humility. The moment we start believing we’re above nature instead of part of it… that’s when we make the same mistakes all over again.”

"I know." Anna said listening. "So many people lost their lives that day. And yes, nature is not something that we can control. To attempt to control it and force it to do what we want only leads to problems. I can only hope people learn this lesson from that, so worse things don't happen."

Ellie gave a small, thoughtful nod, her expression turning solemn. “Yeah… we were lucky. A lot of people weren’t.” She let out a quiet sigh. “Nature has a way of reminding us that it isn’t something we can control. I just wish we’d learned that lesson before so many lives were put at risk.”

"From what I heard, it was horrible. They brought back the dinosaurs without thinking about the consequences, all because they could do it. It's good you were able to survive what happened."

Ellie gave a quiet nod, her expression growing more serious. “I still remember the T. rex… and the raptors. Some days it feels like it all happened yesterday. We survived, but I’ll never forget what we saw—or how close we came to not making it home.”

Ellie stood quietly, letting the breeze wash over her. Life had a way of surprising you. No matter how carefully you planned, nature always had the final word. And somehow, despite everything she’d seen, she still believed there was hope worth holding onto.
