With SCOTUS done for the day, I can turn my attention to a book I’ve been excited to read since I first heard it. @elliotwilliams.bsky.social Five Bullets. A dive in Bernie Goetz, the OG of “violent white grievance” of my lifetime.
Just got my copy of Five Bullets by @elliotwilliams.bsky.social. Looking forward to reading about the Bernhard Goetz case and learning more about the causes of vigilante violence.
Thank you, counsel! Can't wait to hear your thoughts.

For nearly two years, I worked as the researcher on @elliotwilliams.bsky.social’s new book, FIVE BULLETS, a history of “subway vigilante” Bernie Goetz, his trial, and 1980s NYC! It’s as timely as it is captivating! Pre-order here: www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/768052...
Great having you on the show, AG Campbell!
Last week, I joined Elliot Williams on SiriusXM to talk about the Trump Administration’s cruel immigration policies. While this White House continues to stoke fear in our communities, my office will keep working to protect the rights of every resident, regardless of their immigration status.
Earlier today, @penguinpress.bsky.social put out this video, announcing my upcoming book, "FIVE BULLETS: The Story of Bernie Goetz, New York's Explosive '80s, and the Subway Vigilante Trial That Divided the Nation," which will be out early next year. You can preorder it at the link in my bio!
Thanks to @elliotwilliams.bsky.social for trying to help me understand the difference between "evade" and "defy" and "facilitate" and "effectuate" this morning on NPR's Morning Edition. I'll post the audio as soon as it's ready

Also important to note here that background checks aren’t just about who’s smoked weed or bounced a rent check. Biggest things they’re looking for are whether the applicant has ties to foreign governments or is susceptible to blackmail. It’s kiiiiiiiind of important, no matter who’s in power…
I don't want to sound alarmist or anything, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to skip FBI background checks and bury congressional ethics reports about nominees to the most important posts in the federal government.
