I spent between 4 and 5 hours programming hi-hats for an atmospheric black metal song last Friday. I have to find a better way. Maybe I should just use a real drum kit, or record parts with live MIDI input, instead of drawing in notes individually. That was excruciating. Won’t be doing that again.
