It's National Comic Book Day, which means we're celebrating the Spuffy relationship the canon comics gave us. 🥹
24 years ago, the final season of Buffy premiered on UPN and we (along with Buffy) received our first glance at souled Spike. We also got to see Buffy's endless capacity for forgiveness in action for the millionth time. She truly is the character of all time. Happy 24 years of Lessons!

It's Wife Appreciation Day, so we're going to appreciate Buffy's wife, Mr. Spike Summers.
Today is First Love Day, so we're going to take a moment to appreciate how Buffy and Spike's first loves irrevocably shaped them, for better and for worse. Both were foundational and life-changing; an Angel-less Buffy would not be the Buffy Summers we adore, and a Dru-less Spike even less so.

29 years ago today, When She Was Bad gave fans a preview of Season 6. Buffy struggled hard to reconcile with the fact that she had been dead, even for 5 minutes. That her friends didn't anticipate it after she'd been dead 5 months (147 days = 5 months) is…telling.
