#GoogleHealth highlights this morning: deciding three eggs are 675 calories and now having a bug that means all the GPS data from every run I try to record on my Pixel watch is lost. Painful for a £300+ watch and a subscription product.

Trump rebranding AI as 'super intelligence' is problematic as the term is already used for a theoretical future AI which surpasses human intelligence in all domains. Or maybe he just feels AI has surpassed _his_ intelligence in all domains. Agree. Https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cqx2z23xj555o

Trump's AI rebrand causes 'unprecedented' demand for Slovenian website names

The president wants AI to be called super intelligence - or SI - the same initials used by Slovenian domains.

Now instead of just text saying 'please remember to examine the throat properly' with the advent of AI you get a nice little infographic sent to you over the departmental comms. I do wonder how quickly people will fatigue of this as well though....

Interesting how much trouble a little box with text can cause. In the new ALS tachycardia algorithm the VT/is it VT? box is confusing enough that it's already been amended into a version 2 but also asks for procainamide (no UK license so it's interesting to source!).

Indicators of patient flow dysfunction mainly focus on either the hospital front door (e.g. breaches of the four-hour target) or the hospital back door (e.g. delayed transfers of care). But patient flow dysfunction manifests itself *everywhere* in a general hospital. 1/6

The important thing to understand about AI is that everything that everyone else creates using it is mindless slop that is heating up the planet but everything I create using it is like a cross between Oscar Wilde and Van Gogh and was 100% worth it.
