I made some Final Fantasy XIV character wallpapers, each trying to convey a different theme to match the characters' personalities and in different styles. These were some personal projects to learn some new techniques in Photoshop and I'm pretty happy with how these turned out!

This is Rob / Scrubbert, I ended up taking a social media break for the past while since I needed to get away from it. I want to try being active online again, so I reactivated my account. I decided to go under a new handle, though, since I want to distance my social media presence from my gamertag.

Took my girlfriend and one of our mutual friends through Eureka Orthos tonight to prep a bit for the new FF14 deep dungeon, and it was really fun! Glad we managed to clear up to floor 30 on our first attempt!
Microsoft continuing to give me reasons to not subscribe to game pass again, after canceling it back when it was like $17 a month. I didn't use it enough to justify paying for it at that price back then, and I don't think upping the price is going to get people who also got priced out to come back.

Went back and finished the achievements on Spongebob Cosmic Shake. Pretty easy to 100%, but that's to be expected with the kind of game it is
The attention to detail in Sky 1st Chapter is really something else. Even the silent NPCs have their own little narratives. Here's an example. In Rolent there are two NPCs that you can't talk to: an old woman that is always reading by herself and a boy that you first see waving at some birds. 🧵

I'M FREE! I CLEARED HEAVEN ON HIGH SOLO! #FFXIV I've spent a year and a half grinding this deep dungeon and through many failures and server / electricity fuckups, the title and achievement is finally mine. Ggs I'm so fucking glad its over

Overall pretty decent direct, very interested in seeing more Air Riders from Sakurai and what this new FE game is, though it's like 99% a sequel of some kind to 3 Houses. Also can't believe they had the balls to bring Virtual Boy back.
