Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Eternal Darkness last month. 🧙 Lots of people praise this game, I walked into it not knowing if it's genuinely good or just a cult classic. My sense is that it's somewhere between the two, overall a pretty enjoyable experience. :3

Ball Hog 'Virtua Striker 2002' Gamecube

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, 'finished' NHL 2003 last month. 🏒 As a hockey game this was just... okay, not enough to stand out as remarkable. The controls were quite stiff and there weren't as many bells and whistles, NHL Hitz 2002 was much better.

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 last month. 🚓 The pursuit mechanics were fun at first but very quickly became frustrating. The racing was relatively competent but generally quite trivial, plus there were (basically) only four tracks.

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Eggo Mania last month. 🥚 The core idea was great but the water hazards made many levels frustrating to play. This was deceptively difficult and required lots of pause buffering, the vibes and music were spot on though! 🥺

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Rocket Power Beach Bandits earlier this month. 🚀 This was tolerable, it's one of those games where they obviously thought 'More Mechanics = Better Game'. None of this was 'bad' just... boring an uninspired.

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Speed Challenge Jacques Villeneuve's Racing Vision earlier this month. 🏎️ I fucking hated this shit so much, it had to have been one of the most miserable playthroughs in this challenge so far. I'm so glad I'm done with it. 😩

Update on my GameCube 100% challenge, finished Sega Soccer Slam last month. ⚽ This was fine, the mechanics were simple but the games were relatively fun enough. For a single player experience there wasn't much to do, I'd imagine this is far better as a party game.
