David-Erick gave a great presentation & successfully defended his PhD dissertation today. He had several very competitive offers, but we are so thankful that he decided to stay as a Clinical Assistant Prof, and part of the #CTSDMC at the Univ of Iowa. Congrats Dr. Lafontant!

This year, the Society for Clinical Trials (SCT) annual meeting will be held in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. This is one of my favorite conferences, as it is a multidisciplinary program that brings together the clinical trials community. Abstract submissions are open until November 22nd.

A2CPS will collect questionnaires, blood samples and brain imaging from 2,800 participants before and for up to 12 months after having total knee replacement or thoracic surgery.
