I do this kind of thing all the time. If I can’t think of a decent name for a character I often just name them their archetype in a foreign language. For example my werewolf hunter in Fools’ Blood is called Kari which means hunter in Japanese. I do lots of foreshadowingas j write #WhimsicalWriters

I wasn't keen on traditionally publishing or having a publisher do my audiobooks, but after seeing the way publishers and agents are trying to snap up money owed to authors with the Anthropic settlement, absolutely not. Nope. Not sharing my copyright and earnings unless I have to.

This is a hard one. I give a lot of benefits of the doubt but I am generally disappointed if the MC is male. I was quite disappointed with The Children of Memory. Children of Time was so good but the sequel cut short the evolution of the aliens in favour of a fairly standard imposter plot #SFFChat

22:44 β€’il = 959 < Skin Dolls B-story: Fi く She stormed down Charring Cross road with its absurdly tree lined streets in the middle of a metropolis, and made for the Leicester Square underground, the entrance of which was just a tiny cut away in the corner of a greying building. She usually missed it, so she kept an eye out through her anger. Maybe it wouldn't be that bad. If she laid low until the whole band break up hit social media and blew over, it would be obvious there was no deal. No fuck that, she had other friends. Some of them could already play. Why waste time moping like Sana when she could get started on a new band ASAP, get some real music out there and pay the debt back as they went. Maybe he would go for that. They'd have to be stormin'. Impressive even. +
