All the anti-war and anti-occupation protestors were right. All the far leftists were right. All the “woke scolds” and your friend who’s “too woke” were right. They were somehow even more right than they may have realized at the time. But really, it was always obvious they were right.

I find this language really gross. First off, it's weak as hell. But second, if your demand is simply that ICE leaves Minnesota, that's just telling them to go to another state to terrorize people. These centrist squishes need to push for full abolition of ICE.

Our message is clear: ICE needs to get out of Minnesota.

The only reason most democrats will consider voting against funding ICE is not because they understand that ICE is a fascist tool that must be dismantled. It’s because they’re scared to be primaried. Voting no to funding ICE is not enough, it’s the bare minimum.

So when authorities say “she tried to run over an officer,” that is not a neutral description. It is a claim of intent that can be used to justify lethal force after the fact. When the state kills first and invents the threat afterward, it is not policing, it is death squad behavior. /end

In a both-sides field day of an interview — on the night ICE murdered a woman — Tony Dokoupil said, "I don’t know what side to come down on here" when asking ICE's Robert Cerna about masked agents. Dokoupil also spinelessly withheld meaningful pushback in many instances throughout the full interview
