For 2.5 years, I've been running a 30-person #StarWars tabletop roleplaying campaign, with 8 groups of player characters. In today's session, for the first time, 26 or so of those players will be in the same place at the same time. Ask me anything! (I'll answer after the session wraps)

You do not have to consume every single tiny piece of bad news in order to be a good person. It’s ok to miss things. Traumatizing yourself isn’t the same as activism. Bearing witness to the point that you’re paralyzed with fear and horror and fury isn’t going to help us get through this.

Remember their goal is to terrorize us. And social media is a fantastic way to spread terror. We don’t have to help them.

Has anybody else completely forgotten how to/become allergic to posting random thoughts (like this one)? The pandemic and the recent dark ages of Twitter have done a number on us in ways that I think we're all still discovering. Hoping this space stays a safe one to interact like that again.
