Lana's initial sword. A finely crafted antique silver plated ceremonial blade found in a long abandoned trove and given as a wedding gift to her grandmother, the famed explorer Alesya Levin. Estimated to be at least 300 years old.

Two views of the same sword, of a design reminiscent of an Iberian crab sword - it has a disc pommel and a distinctive guard with a pair of protective inner rings. The left is tarnished and yellowed with age and disuse, the right gleaming and polished - radiating with power and shrouded in clouds.

An infant Lana Xerxes, detailing the first few months of her life, as she developed from eyeless mewling ghost to something that the Antiquarians could not in good conscience regard as anything other than a true person, regardless of its origins.

Left: A blobby white entity in the form of a glowing cloud in the rough shape of a human baby. It has short chubby arms and a small mouth, but no other clear anatomical features. Where the rest of its face should be is a mess of whorls and bubbles, and long tendrils suggestive of a head of hair extend from its head. Middle: Ditto, but more developed - she now possesses a defined face, with the contours of eyes visible. Right: Ditto, but the entity's arms, legs (which it now posesses) and face now bear the texture and appearance of human skin - though the rest of its body remains composed of the same cloud material as its previous forms - akin to a cheap baby doll with a sculpted vinyl head and limbs, but a featureless cloth torso.
