We are working in partnership with Vanni Hope in Trincomalee, #SriLanka to support a women's agricultural cooperative in Katakaraichenai. This project is supporting women from 39 households to access affordable finance, training in sustainable agriculture and financial management. #permaculture

Li-ion batteries, a key waste object when it comes to off-grid #solar products across the Global South. There is a lack of standardisation in the usage of these batteries, and acute challenges in getting spares. When available, replacements can double the productive lifespan of these products.
