Sorry this a blurry photo but I saw this on a rotting log and had to share. The name is dog vomit slime mold. Very fitting. I went back for a better shot but it had already dissolved. #nature

#nature We had some crazy clouds last night.

I went to take down the birdfeeder in my Iris bed. I stepped on a stepping stone and I looked down and saw a copperhead about 6 inches from my foot. He didn’t move around. He was all coiled up so I just let him be. Note, not my photo. Seems like he is gone this morning.
